“Luciferous” is a phrase stretching back to at least the 17th century. It’s derived of course from the Latin word “Lucifer,” but more specifically means “bringing or providing light,” “providing insight or enlightenment.” It’s a fitting title, given how much of ENTERPRISE EARTH’s third album is about challenging one’s own past, facing our pain, identifying the roots of trauma in order to annihilate and banish it.

The band’s music is similarly driven by purpose. It’s enveloped by the cold darkness of chaotic despair but violently fights to summon an uplifting light to carry onward.
